Get Your Resume in Shape at Career Services’ Resume Boot Camp

Do you need a job? An internship? Is your resume power packed so you can get you the job or internship you want?
If not, join us for Resume Boot Camp! This Career Lab Seminar will be presented by Gina Gottfredson, Career Coach, on Thursday, October 18, from 1 to 2 pm in the Zion Room (Holland, 5th Floor).
This one-hour seminar is just the beginning. If you would like your resume reviewed, you can bring a hard copy and a coach or mentor will review it after the seminar. If you don’t know where to start or do not have a current resume, don’t worry! Our mentors will be on hand to give you tips and help you draft a resume in our Career Lab following the seminar.
“Almost every job including on-campus positions require a resume,” said Gottfredson. “We can help give you tips and information to make your resume effective and show you how to highlight your skills and strengths. Career Services also reviews resumes throughout the year if students can’t attend this event.”
This workshop is being held the week before the Career and Internship Fair to help students update their resumes and get prepared for the event. The Career and Internship Fair will be held October 25 from 10 to 2 pm in the Gardner Center Ballroom.
Resume Boot Camp is free of charge and open to any student or community member who would like to know more about resumes. Refreshments will be served. No registration is required.
